Investment bank hires corporate-governance expert from Aberdeen Standard to advise on shareholder engagement

Rothschild takes on City brokers with new advice service

Rothschild & Co has launched a business taking on traditional corporate brokers in the City, which are struggling under European trading regulations.

The UK investment bank has created an investor advisory service, it said in a statement on February 4. The new division will counsel companies on engaging with increasingly demanding and active shareholders.
