Rothschilds heads Charterhouse sale

NM Rothschild has been appointed to handle the likely sale of Charterhouse Securities, the broking firm currently owned by Credit Commercial de France (CCF), for £100m (€165m).

CCF agreed last month to be taken over for €11bn ($10bn) by HSBC, whose own securities operation dwarfs the Charterhouse business.
