Swiss branch of the family announces the final stage in the consolidation of their private-banking and asset management empire

The Edmond de Rothschild Group, the company controlled by the Swiss branch of the well-known banking dynasty, has unveiled plans to take its listed Swiss bank into the full private control of the family.

The take-private deal is the last stage in a wider restructuring of the Swiss de Rothschild family’s finance businesses, and could pave the way for expansion via acquisitions.
