Roussely named new head of France at CSFB

Fears grow of wholesale job cuts after strategic review

François Roussely, the former executive chairman of Electricité de France, the French utility, has been named as new chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston in France.

At the same time, concern is growing inside CSFB that staff will face hundreds of job cuts in the next few week after a strategic review of the entire Credit Suisse Group is unveiled next week.
