Row over Swiss Life Private Equity forces out top executives

David Salim and Thomas Grotzer, respectively chief executive and chief operating officer of Swiss Life Private Equity Partners, have left the firm after fundamental disagreements on its future.

Swiss Life told its shareholders: "In the context of Swiss Life Group's strategic realignment, Swiss Life Private Equity Partners will be refocusing its activities. This new orientation was the subject of insurmountable differences of opinion between Swiss Life and part of Swiss Life Private Equity Partners' management. Swiss Life is therefore severing its ties with David Salim and Thomas Grotzer with immediate effect."
