Royal Hospital fund hires Royal London

Royal London Asset Management has been appointed to run 30% of the £30m (€45m) Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability Staff and Life assurance Scheme.

Clerical Medical has previously managed the entire portfolio, but following advice from HSBC Actuaries and Consultants the fund decided to split the assets of the growing fund between different managers, said Mike Stanley, director of finance at the fund.
