The chief executive of Royal London has stressed the importance of having a diversified product bench to take advantage of changing investment cycles, as the group's asset management arm reported an impressive first quarter for inflows.
The mutual insurer reported on May 12 that Royal London Asset Management received net inflows of £357 million in the three months to March 31, a near 222% increase on the first quarter of 2015. This helped lift assets under management to £87.9 billion.
