Insurance group RSA has turned to Swip's former bond head and ex-FN100 fund manager Gareth Quantrill as its new group investment manager.

Quantrill - who was most recently a director at Alliance Trust - will have responsibility for all strategic asset allocation and look after government credit investment strategies across multiple currencies.
