Alan Rubenstein, chief executive of the UK's pensions lifeboat the Pension Protection Fund, and Pascal Duval, former chief executive of Russell Investments Emea, will join a select panel experts to decide on Europe's most successful asset management firms and senior executives of 2017.

Duval, chairman of the board of trustees of The VSF International and chief executive of Duval Capital, and Rubenstein, who has nearly 40 years' experience in investment and pensions, will judge Financial News Asset Management Awards Europe 2017, alongside former LCP veteran consultant Andy Cheseldine, who is now client director at Capital Cranfield Trustees; pensions and sustainable investment expert Dawn Turner, who is chief executive of the £28bn Brunel Pension Partnership; and funds analysis executive Jonathan Miller, director of manager research for Morningstar UK.
