Russell Investment Group, the multi-manager arm of US life insurer Northwestern Mutual, has appointed Nicholas Georgis to the new role of managing director for wealth management. He previously worked for Schwab Institutional, part of US stockbroker Charles Schwab.

Georgis' role will be to build and manage relationships with wealth managers and investment advisers.
