Russian oligarch flees to London after $3bn energy sale

A billionaire businessman on the run from a Russian arrest warrant has reportedly fled to London after selling his holding in an oil and gas business for $3bn (€2.2bn) to Oleg Deripaska, a fellow oligarch.

Russian business daily Kommersant reports that Mikhail Gutseriyev, the former controlling shareholder of energy company Russneft, has flown to the UK after selling his holding in the business to Oleg Deripaska, a metals and mining billionaire.
