RWE supports buying habit with bond proceeds

RWE, the Germany utility that has been on a European buying spree, added €200m ($180m) to its existing €650m issue due in 2016, a segment of the euro yield curve that it can call its own.

RWE recently bought Transgas, the Czech Republic's biggest producer, and stakes in eight other Czech gas companies, for around €4bn, followed by the UK's Highland Energy for an undisclosed sum.
