Standard & Poor's, the rating, fund research and index provider, has launched a European rating service for hedge funds.

Its first assessment gives a triple A rating to the fund of hedge funds of Permal, Haussman and GAM for quality of the investment process, team experience, control of risks and consistency of performance of European fund of hedge funds.
