Lepe Partners, the independent merchant bank established by media banker Jonnie Goodwin in 2011, has emerged as the sole advisory firm to win a role on the sale of the Ministry of Sound Recordings label to Sony Music UK.

Sony Music UK, whose artists include Calvin Harris, Paloma Faith and Mark Ronson, announced its takeover of the dance label for an undisclosed sum on August 10, saying that the deal would see it take on the label's artists, back catalogue and compilations business.
