A senior Barclays equity capital markets banker is set to join Santander in the latest hire by the Spanish bank as it builds out its dealmaking unit.
Fabrizio Giordano, who spent more than 18 years in senior roles at Barclays, is set to join Santander as head of strategic equity for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to people familiar with the appointment.
