Sanwa shuts three operations

Sanwa Bank is closing its global futures operations in London, Chicago and Singapore due to the economic downturn in Japan. A total of 75 jobs will be cut. The bank will continue to clear its own futures business, but will axe all customer futures execution and clearing business.
