Saudi Arabia's Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal expressed confidence on Monday in the future of Citigroup, following the resignation last week of its former chief executive Vikram Pandit.
Speaking at a conference in Dubai, Prince Alwaleed said he "has confidence" that Citigroup "enjoys great potential" under its new management. He said: "It is the only true global bank. Unlike other Western banks, Citigroup did not cut its overseas investments."
