Former Lehman executive Savoret to head Macquarie Emea

Macquarie Group on Monday said it had hired Benôit Savoret, the former European chief operating officer for Lehman Brothers, as its chief executive officer for Europe.

Savoret starts this week in a new role that includes heading all of the Australian financial giant's businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will also head Macquarie's securities business in the region.
