Anthony Scaramucci, the man behind SALT, is shifting the high-profile annual conference’s focus towards artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency and property as a result of poor performance in the hedge fund industry.

The SkyBridge Alternatives conference, known as SALT and named for Scaramucci’s investment firm, has become a leading gathering for the hedge fund community since the inaugural event in 2009.
