Schroder IM has poached Susan Haroun from UBS Brinson to co-ordinate global institutional work. It has also revamped UK strategy.

Haroun is seen by consultants as a tough operator capable of reinforcing discipline across the firm. 'Schroder has not always sung sufficiently well from a global hymn sheet,' said one consultant.
