Schroder Investment Management is set to launch its institutional multinational equity fund to satisfy growing client demand and, according to some consultants, to stave off the haemmorage of clients.

This is one of the first active funds to be launched using the newly FTSE Multinationals Index, said Charles Burbeck, deputy head of global research.
