Schroder Investment Management has posted an estimated 2.4% return for its UK balanced pooled fund, outperforming the expected overall median by 0.4% in the first quarter of 2002.

The £1.7bn (€2.8bn) Schroder Institutional Managed Balanced Fund has also performed well over the 12-month period, with an estimated return of -1.8%, compared to the estimated median of -2.6%.
