Schroder & Co, the private banking business of Schroders PLC, is developing a fund of funds private equity product to offer to both its private banking and institutional clients in the first quarter of 2001.
Andrew Sykes, chairman of Schroder & Co and head of its private bank and alternative investments, said: "Schroder is in the process of designing a fund of funds, which in this instance is a fund that will invest in top quartile private equity managers, predominantly in the Europe and the US."
