UK funds giant Schroders has agreed a deal to invest in a technology-led business that provides services to independent financial advisers, in a bid to grow its retail presence.

UK funds giant Schroders has agreed a deal to invest in a technology-led business that provides services to independent financial advisers, in a bid to grow its retail presence.

Schroders said in a November 10 statement that it had agreed the deal with Benchmark Capital. The firm runs a technology company, an institutional funds platform and a network of independent financial advisers. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
