Schroders has promoted Peter Harrison, its global head of equities and a potential successor to chief executive Michael Dobson, after just one year in the role

Schroders has promoted Peter Harrison, its global head of equities and a potential successor to chief executive Michael Dobson, after just one year in the role.

Harrison will become head of investment. Harrison joined in March 2013 from boutique fund manager RWC Partners.
