Schroders’ global head of trading Steve Wood has been appointed as a director at broker ITG, a position he will continue to hold following his retirement next month, after eight years with the leading asset manager.

Electronic agency broker ITG said today that Wood has been appointed to the board of directors with immediate effect, and his involvement will help the US firm "drive future growth and maximise shareholder value".
