UK fund manager Schroder Investment Management has hired US-based multi-manager SEI Investments' global chief investment officer to head its product and marketing division.

Karl Dasher will assume overall responsibility for all Schroders' product and global marketing activities. He replaces Robert Higginbotham, who joined Fidelity International last April to head up its European funds business. Dasher will join both the global distribution and the global investment executive committee and report to Massimo Tosato, vice chairman. He is based in London.
