Schroder Investment Management has hired Allan Conway as head of emerging markets equities following the departure earlier this week of two emerging market specialists to RAB Capital, the UK hedge fund firm.

Conway joins from German bank West LB, where he was head of global emerging markets and chief executive of WestAM UK, the bank's asset management arm.
