Schroders Japan veteran announces exit plan

Andrew Rose, manager of Schroders’ flagship Japanese equity fund since 2004, will retire from the company in June, handing over to his deputy.

Rose, a Schroders lifer who has worked for the UK fund manager since 1981, including stints in both London and Tokyo, runs the £2.3bn Schroder Tokyo fund and the £235m Schroder Japan Growth fund.
