The former head of one of BlackRock’s most important business units in Europe is to join the senior management team at rival asset manager Schroders.

Charles Prideaux, the one-time boss of BlackRock’s active management operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is joining the UK-listed investment house as its head of solutions next month.
