Investment boutique SVM Asset Management has added the former head of personal investing at Fidelity International to its board.

Jonathan Hewitt has joined the Scottish fund manager having also held senior roles at Standard Life and Aegon, the insurers, according to a statement. He was also part of the Standard Life Investments Ethical Funds Advisory Group.
