Scottish Investment Trust chairman rebuked at AGM

Scottish Investment Trust shareholders criticised chairman Angus Grossart at the trust's annual general meeting on Friday for buying back shares held by Sierra Trading at a premium to the market price.

The trust paid more than £36m (€54m) for Sierra's shares on January 11, at a price of 458p a share. The shares closed at 446.5p on January 10 and 456.5p on the following day.
