Seabrook's exit from SGAM surprises consultants

The decision of Peter Seabrook and Jane Simmons to quit as senior UK equity managers at SG Asset Management, has surprised the UK investment consulting community.

Seabrook, one of the first people to be recruited by Nicola Horlick and John Richards at SGAM, controlled by Société Générale of France, has decided that he wants a career break. It is understood that he may return to investment management in the autumn.
