SEB chief heads for World Bank

Lars Thunell, president and chief executive of SEB, the Nordic investment banking group, has been nominated executive vice president of the International Finance Corporation and member of the group management of the World Bank.

Until his full retirement from SEB in August 2006, Thunell will continue to work part-time as a senior advisor.
