SEC appoints New York examiner

The Securities and Exchange Commission, the US regulator, has appointed Ken Joseph to manage the investment adviser and investment company examination program in the New York regional office. Joseph was previously staff attorney, branch chief and assistant director in the enforcement division's asset management unit, where he worked for 16 years. In the new role he will manage a team of around 100 involved in examining investment companies and investment advisers in New York and New Jersey.
