Secor Asset Management opens London office

Secor Asset Management, a global asset management firm that aims to provide advisory, portfolio, and alternative investment solutions to pension clients, today announced the opening of its UK office to further expand the firm's international capabilities. Secor Investment Advisors (UK), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Secor, received its FSA license in July. Secor currently advises pension clients across seven European countries. The London office will be led by Jeroen Wilbrink, who just joined from F&C, and Thierry Bollier, a partner at the firm.

Secor was founded by Tony Kao, former chief investment officer of General Motors Asset Management, and Raymond Iwanowski, former co-head of the Quantitative Investment Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
