Jonathan Grassi, a managing director in the mergers and acquisitions team, is amongst the bankers leaving HSBC in its latest job cull, according to senior sources at the bank.

Two directors also thought to be leaving include Alastair Morton, a 16-year-old veteran of the bank and Nigel Medhurst from the media team.
