The COO of JP Morgan in Europe, who oversaw the integration of Bear Stearns, has left the bank after 28 years in the latest senior reshuffle since the investment bank’s chief executive Bill Winters was dismissed in September last year.
Jakob Stott, described by one JP Morgan banker as "Winters' right-hand man in Europe" left the bank at the beginning of this month. He was in New York last week to say goodbye to colleagues before holding a leaving party in London on Thursday evening that was attended by several hundred people, according to colleagues. It is understood that Stott is not being replaced.
