Bank of America has hired seven bankers for its global markets sales team in London. It takes the headcount in the team up by more than a third since the beginning of the year, when the bank started to build its distribution business.

Brian Heyworth, international head of global markets sales at Bank of America, said the latest hires are part of an initiative that is "already dramatically improving our ability to serve investor clients".
