Seymour Pierce equities head quits after seven months

Seymour Pierce's head of equities has left less than eight months after joining the firm from French broker Chevreux, following what one market source said was a "disagreement over the future of the business".

Jonathan Sutton, formerly head of UK broking at Chevreux, joined Seymour Pierce last July as head of equities, after Calyon, Chevreux's parent, shut down its London-based equity business.
