SG Securities has hired three senior equity sales traders for its French trading team in a bid to improve its ranking as the number three broker in French small and mid-cap stocks.

Jean Bruneau has joined the bank from HSBC to head a five-strong team of European equity sales traders servicing French investors. He will report to Richard Craddock, global head of equity sales trading, and will be based in Paris.
