Société Générale has expanded its €5.6bn ($6.9bn) fund of hedge fund business with the hire of three regional sales heads. It has transferred a fourth from Paris to Hong Kong.

Alastair Smith has joined from Aspect Capital, a UK hedge fund manager, to become head of European and Middle East hedge fund sales.
