SG, the corporate and investment banking division of Société Générale, has recruited Michele Cortese from Lehman Brothers to its Italian debt capital markets origination team.

Cortese joins SG as a director responsible for originating debt business from Italian corporate, public and sovereign borrowers. He reports to Arnaud Achour, head of corporate origination, and Zeina Bignier, head of public/sovereign origination.
