Société Générale has linked up with NEC, the Japanese technology company, to launch an online broking service in the Japanese market before the end of this year called SG Online.

The service will combine SG's existing experience in online broking through Fimatex, the largest online brokerage in France which floated last month, with NEC's internet and technical skills.
