SG Hambros Corporate Finance has appointed Alan Giddins as managing director with responsibility for support services.

Giddins, who has been promoted from his previous position of director, has worked closely with the UK port and logistics services company P&O in particular, advising the group on the sale of Chelsea Harbour, P&O Shopping Centres, and the demerger of P&O Princess Cruises.
