SG Securities, the broking arm of Société Générale, has hired two analysts to its pan-European research team less than a month after sacking 70 equity research staff.

Philip Hollobone and Mariabeatrice Gerosa will join the utilities pan-European equity research team, reporting to Adam Dickens, head of pan-European utilities research. The appointments bring the number of new hires to seven in two weeks.
