SG Asset Management (SGAM) has poached one of Gartmore Investment Management's senior technology fund managers to help fill the gap left by the departure of Chris Godding.

Hugh Grieves, who worked on both the onshore retail Gartmore American Smaller Companies fund and the offshore retail Gartmore Capital Strategy US Smaller Companies fund, joins SGAM's technology fund management team.
