Shadows loom in corporate credit

Fed tapering and political risk could conspire against the booming asset class, say market participants

Credit market participants are positioning for an end to the sustained rally in corporate bonds.

In a research note published this week, analysts at Societe Generale wrote that the rally, which led to a record $2.16 trillion in global issuance last year, "may be near its later stages".
