The Sharp End: Back to the photographic future

The retro appeal of analogue cameras is growing

It seems like only yesterday that revered film and camera company Eastman Kodak filed for bankruptcy protection with its products killed off after more than 130 years by the overwhelming trend towards digital photography.

In fact, it happened a few weeks ago, although these days that is more than enough time to reminisce about good old film and dig out your ancient Olympus Trip or Kodak Instamatic for a quiet moment of fond remembrance.
