Shore Capital, the London-based boutique investment bank, has hired Mike Orsborn, former deputy chairman and head of broking at Charterhouse, as a consultant.

Orsborn has been recruited three months after Shore Capital hired 12 analysts and corporate finance specialists from the former Charterhouse group at ING. The company, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, has also opened an office in Liverpool and appointed Eamonn Flanagan, an insurance analyst who was among the hires from ING in June, to run the 14-strong team.
